Tom Davies is a veteran of the pharmacy industry, with nearly 25 years of experience. As RxBenefits Senior Director of Clinical Products, he supports all present and future clinical program initiatives within the organization. Tom explains that what first made him want to pursue a career in the industry was “the firsthand observation of the benefits of pharmaceutical interventions while working at a correctional facility.”
Tom’s varied experience includes long-term care, retail, toxicology, academia, specialty pharmacy management and distribution, and managed care. In terms of his experience going hand in hand with his current role, Tom says, “I feel my prior clinical experiences and responsibilities have allowed me the opportunity to quickly become part of and contribute to the RxB clinical team.” One of the most challenging aspects of the role he says is, “understanding and connecting with the applicable resources within such a large organization.” Tom’s passion for addressing and implementing solutions for the betterment of all makes him a strong asset to the team.
When Tom isn’t busy innovating and developing clinical solutions, he spends time with his sons. They enjoy partaking in a variety of activities such as fishing, hunting, playing soccer, or running in the beautiful state of Utah.
