The Maryland Cycling Classic supported by UnitedHealthcare, America’s top-ranked professional road cycling race and highest-ranked UCI event, today revealed the five official podium awards jerseys and each sponsor for the inaugural event, which takes place Sunday, September 4, 2022. Designed by Athlos Sportswear, headquartered in Baltimore, the custom cycling apparel company is the official technical apparel and jersey partner for the event.

“As a Maryland-based business, the moment we heard about the Maryland Cycling Classic, we knew Athlos had to support it,” said Athlos Chief Sales and Marketing Officer David Manchester. “We were honored to create the official jersey and took great care to showcase Maryland’s rich history and iconic landmarks. We have blended the base designs into each of the winners’ jerseys to celebrate Maryland, this exciting day of racing and the incredible supporting sponsors.”
As part of its partnership with Maryland Cycling Classic, Athlos will also supply key staff clothing for the event.
“Athlos is synonymous with the Maryland-corporate themed partnerships we are showcasing for the Maryland Cycling Classic,” said Terry Hasseltine, President, Sport and Entertainment Corporation of Maryland, the event’s owners. “We love the integration and play that is distinctly Maryland and recognized around the world.”
